Catnip

Organic catnip or Nepeta Cataria alters the behaviour of most cats. 

A typical response includes sniffing, chewing, licking, head shaking and body rubbing.  

Additional responses may include stretching, drooling, jumping, licking and hyperactivity. The so called "high" will usually last between five and ten minutes.

How to use
- Ideal for cat toys to make or refill
- Make places like the scratching post or carrier more attractive
- Spread over the ground, so that your cat can play /roll in it
- Sprinkle over the feed as a healthy snack 

Kittens might not respond until they are older.

Catnip has also been known to calm and relax dogs, try sprinkling a little on their food or in their water.
